Oldham will unveil their new manager at a press conference on Wednesday when it is widely expected that Paul Dickov will be confirmed as Dave Penney's successor. The Latics have refused to comment on reports claiming the former Manchester City and Scotland striker is to succeed Penney at Boundary Park.
The much-travelled 37 year old has never previously managed, but is expected to replace Penney, who was sacked in April after Oldham dropped into relegation trouble.
