Paul Dickov says Craig Bellamy is a great signing for Manchester City.

Former City hero Dickov, who played alongside Bellamy at Blackburn, has nothing but praise for the born-again striker.

Dickov said: "He's infectious. His enthusiasm shows in matches and on the training ground.

"During the season I was with him at Blackburn, he always made demands of other players, but he demanded a lot of himself too.

"Mark Hughes wants players who set high standards, and there's no doubt that Craig does that admirably."
