Former Italy striker Davide di Michele feels Cristiano Ronaldo is thriving in a different role at Juventus.

Ronaldo has been outstanding since his August arrival from Real Madrid.

And Di Michele told RMC: "Surely everyone thought he would have more difficulties in Serie A.

"He is also changing his way of playing compared to Real Madrid, he is no longer the reference point in front and he does not have the team on his shoulders, this benefits him.

"He has less responsibility but is always as decisive as he was at Real Madrid."
