Former Fiorentina midfielder Antonio Di Gennaro says Juventus have too many players who lack a connection to the club.
Juve are in crisis this season under coach Max Allegri.
Di Gennaro told TMW: "Many players are not from Juve, but they are choices made for some time. The problems came after (Beppe) Marotta's farewell and the arrival of (Cristiano) Ronaldo.
"Players arrived who for Juve are players with the which is difficult to achieve the objectives. It takes calm and serenity, yes, but it takes the results. Now they cannot have goals in the league, in the Champions League we will see.
"It is a team that has important gaps, especially in terms of character, which has always been the strength of Juventus. The problem was not Ronaldo, even if it was not a choice of Marotta and that is why he left."
