Former Lazio star Paolo di Canio has hit out at Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte.

Di Canio insists Conte needs to take responsibility for the team's problems since Serie A's restart.

He told Sky Italia: "Conte has been a constant lament since the beginning, even after the knockout with Dortmund he complained about the young squad.

"Antonio must stand by this squad which has the potential, he must convey the winning mentality but I would not be surprised if they were not happy inside the club, after a year at Chelsea he poisoned the locker room.

"He must now win the Europa League, that must be the minimum. I definitely expected more, especially after the lockdown.

"And then his constant attack on the players is not a point in his favour: if you win, they endure, they wait, and young people wait a little longer. But when you don't win the player gets tired."
