Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall hopes he's impressing Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers in preseason.
The homegrown midfielder played 90 minutes in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Blackburn and again impressed with his passing, vision, and work-rate.
Speaking to LCFC TV after Saturday's game at the King Power Stadium, Dewsbury-Hall said: “It's a big opportunity to show the gaffer that we can play for the first team and that we're ready.
"You've got to take every game as a big opportunity to try to impress.
“I'm really pleased. It was upsetting that the season ended early for me when I was on loan, so I feel like I've not played as many games. But I feel like I've come back sharp and raring to go.
“I've got a point to prove to the manager to show that I am good enough to play in the first team. I'm happy I got 90 minutes today and hopefully there's more to come.
“The aim is to try to play as many games as possible. I'm young, I'm hungry and I just want to try to make a name for myself and show everyone what I can do on the pitch. Whenever I get an opportunity, I'm going to try to take it."
