Everton boss Roberto Martinez expects summer signing Gerard Deulofeu to miss the club's opening Premier League game against Watford with a hamstring injury, reports Sky Sports.

The 21 year old winger signed from Barcelona for £4.2m earlier this summer having spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Goodison Park.

"He's already working at 60 per cent so I don't expect him to be too far away," he said. "But maybe the weekend will be too early for him."
