Watford star Gerard Deulofeu is delighted with his first start of the season.

The Spanish winger played in a roaming attacking role, helping his team to an impressive 2-0 win.

Deulofeu is just happy to be back. But he is also delighted that his first start coincided with such an impressive team performance.

"It is a long time and I have suffered with my injury in my foot, so I enjoyed today so much with my team and getting the three points after the defeat to Bournemouth at home," Deulofeu said to the Watford Observer.

"It was a really good game, the first half was perfect and we dominated the whole game and know how well we played.

"The second half was a little bit difficult because they pressed much better and put in some dangerous crosses but we kept a good level, kept the clean sheet and the win was very good today."
