France coach Didier Deschamps admits he expects to eventually see Zinedine Zidane take the Les Bleus job.

Zidane has just returned for a second stint as Real Madrid coach.

But Deschamps says: "At one time or another, Zinedine Zidane will have a role to play and he will have that place. I do not know when.

"It could have been before, maybe it will be there, or after. I do not know. It seems obvious to him, as we could also say at a moment for me too. He will be there.

"But I do not think it's his concern right now. Neither mine!"
