France coach Didier Deschamps says Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette should always be played in his best position.
The France international has six goals from 14 appearances across all competitions so far, having managed 17 across the entirety of last season.
Arsenal have found Lacazette's best position a problem, though, with the forward sometimes deployed down the middle or on the flanks.
And Deschamps believes he is better-suited to playing as a striker, rather than a winger.
He said: “Lacazette is an axial [central] striker.
“It's true that he has already been able to evolve elsewhere for his club.
“But it is in the axis [leading the line] that he is at his most powerful."
