France coach Didier Deschamps believes Antoine Griezmann will never get at Barcelona what he had with Atletico Madrid.

But Deschamps insists the France attacker appears happier he has been for some months.

He told Canal+: "A happy player at FC Barcelona? He is happier now than a few weeks or months ago. He cannot be fulfilled as he was at Atlético because the team was made for him, around him.

"Here, this is not the case. He changed.

"He does the right thing, he has the character, he already has the football qualities and the state of mind because he is someone very generous. Whenever he comes back to the French team, he knows what I want from him and it's not the same thing at all. And it shows. He is always happy to be with this blue jersey and he has an influence which is very important in our offensive workings."
