France coach Didier Deschamps has reaffirmed his support for Olivier Giroud.

The Chelsea striker remains Deschamps' most controversial selection.

But he says: "He was injured two weeks.

"He played two weeks ago and he scored. Playing time, he will have it, Chelsea plays in all the competitions. But it suits him well.

"It is not when he is introduced that he is the most efficient. He is always there, he scores goals and when he does not, he helps his team to have positive results."
