Desailly: Solskjaer still has Jose's problem at Man Utd

World Cup winner Marcel Desailly says Manchester United's defence remains their biggest problem.

United have won 10 of their 12 matches under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since Mourinho was sacked in December.

The only defeat of Solskjaer's reign came in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie against PSG at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

“What was the problem under (Jose) Mourinho is still there, it's still there," Desailly said on beIN SPORTS.

“They had 10 amazing games but it's still there.

“You talk about the defence, the lack of leaders, it's still there.

“Today it has shown up in the Champions League.

“Solskjaer and the players have to get back the motivation to prove that they are a great club.

“We have identified what was needed.

“Same for Chelsea when they lost against [Manchester] City.

“You know you have identified that you have a problem in your back four, where you have to rectify.

“This is what the top-level game gives you as an indication."
