Liverpool midfielder Harry Wilson admits his goal in Derby County's Carabao Cup win at Manchester United was celebrated by his teammates at Anfield.
Wilson, who made his debut for Wales aged just 16, knows manager Jurgen Klopp is watching – and Kop pals like James Milner and Adam Lallana too.
All three were quick to text him after his wonder-strike free-kick helped knock Manchester United out of the EFL Cup in September.
He told the Mirror: “To score that goal as a Liverpool fan at Old Trafford was a special moment.
“When I watched the goal back on Twitter I didn't realise it was as good as it was! At the time it happened so fast it was just a blur.
“I had a message off Jurgen that night. He said great game, great goal.
“He thought it was a really good strike but he was more pleased with my overall performance rather than just the goal. It was nice to hear from him then a few of the players messaged me like James and Adam saying, 'Well done mate'.
“To have people who have done it in the Premier League for years messaging you is nice. It means a lot."
