Derby whiz Wilson: Klopp texted me after Man Utd wonder goal

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was pleased for Harry Wilson after his wonder goal in Derby County's Carabao Cup upset at Manchester United.

The Welshman, who is on loan at Derby, scored a stunning free-kick last month before the Championship side won in a penalty shootout.

Wilson has revealed Kop boss Klopp sent him a text message congratulating him on his wonder goal after the game, admitting that he was thrilled to hear from the manager who he hopes will pick him on Merseyside in the future.

"He messaged me after the United game," said the 21-year-old.

"He just said 'fantastic free-kick, really great football'.

"It's great to hear from the manager whose team you want to be in in the future."
