He said: "It's nonsense. We've invested a lot of time and money into Kenny so the deal would have to be right for Derby County.

"There's no financial reason for us to sell but, if Kenny wants to go to Rangers and the fee is right, we'll do a deal.

"We've heard nothing from Rangers. We've heard all the speculation and comments which makes you think there may be something in it but, unless Rangers make a move, it's still all speculation.
