Derby County have scoffed at claims from Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies in the aftermath of the weekend's clash.

The Sun says Derby labelled Davies' claims that Nigel Clough kicked him as "laughable."

Forest's boss has contacted his lawyers. But a Rams source said: "Any notion our manager would attack an opposition manager is laughable."
