Derby County are set to land Ipswich Town goalkeeper Lewis Price for £1 million.

The Mirror says Rams boss Billy Davies is keen to give first choice Stephen Bywater, a hero of the Rams' promotion drive, a fight for the jersey in the Premiership.

Price, 22, became Ipswich's No.1 after coming through the ranks and also gatecrashed John Toshack's Wales team last season as his reputation soared.

Now Davies wants Price and Bywater to keep each other on their toes in the top flight.
