English Championship club Derby County have invited four players from MLS outfit Colorado Rapids for winter training.
24-year old forward Andre Akpan, 22-year old midfielder Tony Cascio, 22-year old defender Chris Klute and 23-year old midfielder Martin Rivero will all train with the Rams from December 3-12 the Rapids have confirmed.
"This is a great opportunity for these young players to continue their development and gain valuable experience overseas," said Rapids Technical Director Paul Bravo.
"They will be able to train at a high level among very strong players, while gaining an understanding of how things work at one of the oldest and most storied soccer clubs in the world."
