Derby cops warned of feud between Mourinho and Guardiola

Cops assigned to the Manchester derby will be alerted to the feud between Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho and Manchester City's Pep Guardiola.

The Daily Mail says their explosive rivalry and the increased tension it may bring to the terraces are part of the police's planning for the Manchester derby.

Officers on duty for Saturday's clash between the two sides, the first battle between the feuding managers with their new clubs in England, will be told of the pair's feisty history and the effect that may have on their operation.

Around 400 officers are expected to be on duty for the 12.30pm kick-off and they will be briefed about the Mourinho/Guardiola feud which dates back to their days managing Real Madrid and Barcelona.
