Derby County boss Frank Lampard says Mason Mount deserves his England call.

The on-loan Chelsea midfielder joins up with the Three Lions this week.

"He deserves a call-up from his form with us," said Lampard.

"He has trained with England before and hopefully he won't be daunted in any way. I applaud Gareth for giving young players a chance."

Lampard recalled his own England call-up.

"I remember being nervous, but Mason is different. He's the kind of lad that takes all these things on his shoulders."
