Derby County boss Frank Lampard is eyeing Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer.
Sky Sports says Lampard has contacted his old club to enquire into Palmer's availability.
Lampard has taken up his first managerial post this summer and is tasked with hauling Derby out of the Championship.
Palmer, 21, played on loan at Huddersfield during their promotion campaign in 2016/17 and also spent six months at Pride Park last term.
He made only two league starts for Derby during that stint but Lampard is keen to bring him back into the fold on a permanent transfer.
