Derby County boss Paul Jewell has told his players that no-one's future has been decided.

"I know what I am thinking but if one of those players goes and has a wonderful end to the season he might push himself into my plans or out of my plans, whichever way it goes," said Jewell.

"And that goes for all the players here, even those whose contracts have got some time to run.

"They are all still playing for their futures to show me they want to be here.

"Clear-out is not the right word. I am planning an improvement of the playing staff for next season and if players want to be here and are good enough, I am quite happy to have them."
