Derby boss Jewell lashes out at Spurs management

Derby County boss Paul Jewell lashed out at Tottenham management following their 3-0 defeat on Saturday.

Jewell was far from happy. Not about the first goal, tapped in by Keane after Berbatov had retreated from an offside position. Nor the third, a penalty tucked in by Berbatov after Alan Stubbs had handled. The second, guided in cleverly by Kaboul, was a regulation effort. No argument.

Bizarrely, Jewell's anger arose from John Alexander, the Tottenham secretary, handing in the teamsheet.

"It should be the manager or one of the senior coaches," Jewell said. "It's not a big issue, but I take the teamsheet in, I am the manager and I think the referee deserves a bit more respect."
