Derby County boss Paul Jewell says he is "comfortable" with his budget to rebuild the squad but insists it is nothing like the £12m being reported.

He said: "I've got to try to chop and change, and whatever I can generate, I can put back into the kitty for players.

"I'm comfortable with the budget and the amount of maneuvering I can do."
