Derby County boss Paul Jewell is convinced the club's new American owners are in it for the long haul.
"It is a big country America and it is like saying all Scotsmen are tight. Or all Scousers are thieves. You can tar everyone with the same brush and it is a gross generalisation. I think I am a decent judge of character and these people have come to Derby because they see in the long-term future how great Derby can be. Tom (Glick) and Andy (Appleby) are both really passionate about sport. I don't think they are here to make money or a quick buck because, if I had as much money as them, I don't think I would be buying a football club," said Jewell.
