Derby boss Davies: Market work not over

Derby County boss Billy Davies says his summer market plans are far from over.

Davies watched his side, containing new signings Claude Davis and Lewis Price, go down 2-0 at League Two Mansfield on Saturday and is expecting plenty more chopping and changing ahead of the close of the transfer window in August.

"There will be a lot more ins and outs," he told the club's official website.

"We have chased after some big names and sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't, but I'm comfortable where we are right now and where we will be at the end of August.

"Right now clubs are being asked to pay over the odds because the transfer market is going crazy, but there's still time to bring in a few more quality players."
