Derby County boss Nigel Clough is keen to extend the loan of Arsenal youngster Gilles Sunu into next season.
The 18-year-old is tasting Championship football for the first time and he showed some promising signs against Albion.
The pacey French Youth international provides Derby with options in attack. He played on the right on Saturday but can also operate as a striker.
"I think you saw once we get the ball to his feet and he is running at the full-back, he looks very exciting indeed," Rams manager Nigel Clough told the Derby Telegraph. "He did that one or two times in the first half and a couple of times in the second half.
"He also got himself into a great position for the chance he missed when we were one up. Sunu was that tired after the game he fell asleep on the bus coming back. It is a big, big step up for him at 18, coming from Arsenal Reserves, but we think he is going to improve.
"We are looking at him for next season as well, may be on a longer term loan. To do that, we have to put him out there and see how he does. I thought he did OK, not bad at all.
"He is still learning about the Championship which is vastly different to playing for Arsenal Reserves. It is a great experience for him."
