Derby County boss Paul Jewell is planning a bid for Blackburn Rovers striker Jason Roberts.
Jewell wants Roberts to spearhead his Championship promotion challenge next season.
Rovers manager Mark Hughes is expected to let Roberts go this summer with Sunderland and Bolton also interested.
