Deportivo La Coruna say they could extend the loan of Manchester City winger Marlos Moreno.

Deportivo claiming that there is an option to extend his one-year stay with them to two years, it could be a while before he is fighting for a place with the Blues.

Depor sporting director Richard Barral said: "Arriving at a young age and coming from another country you always run the risk that in the first year, you won't fit.

"But you also cannot risk signing someone for two years, so we asked that the second was optional, with City asking us for a recovery clause in the second season it follows the formula of one plus one."
