Steven N'Zonzi is ready to test himself in the Champions League with Sevilla

N'Zonzi completed a £7million move from Stoke to the Spanish side last week and the move can be seen as a he step up for the midfielder.

The reason behind N'Zonzi pushing for a move to Europa League winners Sevilla was to test himself in the Champions League and the Frenchman has now stated that he is up for the challenge upon the completion of his dream move.

The midfielder told the Stoke Sentinel: "I had a good time at Stoke, a really good time. I wanted to improve every season and I think I have done that at Stoke from the first year to the last. I have matured and hopefully everyone can see that.

"I always want to play better and last season was definitely my best. Now I need to test myself in the Champions League and unfortunately I can't do that with Stoke.

"For me it was the right decision and hopefully now I will enjoy it just as much here in Seville."
