Departing Nantes coach Ranieri keen on England return

Departing Nantes coach Claudio Ranieri admits he's keen to return to English football.

Ranieri, who famously led Leicester City to the Premier League title two years ago had been working in Ligue 1, before his relationship with president Waldemar Kita become severely strained after the Italian was branded unprofessional for missing Nantes' 75th anniversary celebrations.

The Italian admits he's open to the challenge of a Premier League return.

"Why not? I don't know now, but one day I'd like to come back to England," he told Sky Sports.

"I am waiting [for offers].

“I have some good situations but I'm waiting to find the right solution."
