Chelsea attacker Pedro has undergone shoulder surgery.
Chelsea lost the FA Cup final to Arsenal 2-1 at Wembley and were struck down with a number of injuries during the match.
One of those was to Pedro who, after coming on as a second-half substitute, landed awkwardly on his shoulder when competing for the ball with Arsenal defender Sokratis.
The 33-year-old, who is due to join Roma for free this month, was carried off on a stretcher and he has now undergone surgery.
“The surgery went well, I will be back soon," Pedro wrote on Instagram. “It was a pity not to win the FA Cup. Thank you all for your support."
