PSV Eindhoven defender Denzel Dumfries says Tottenham deserved their Champions League win last night.

Despite the manner of Spurs' two late goals, Dumfries admitted they were worthy victors.

"If you watch the whole game, they had the bigger chances," he told Veronica.

"We were very close and fought like lions. Unfortunately, first the equaliser then they made it 2-1.

"We were a good team and Jeroen Zoet kept us in the fight. We did everything together to prevent a goal. It is very sour that we fell in the end.

"I think this is the one which hurts the most, even though I am still emotional."
