Dennis Praet admits surprise over Leicester selection struggles

Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet has spoken about his struggles at the club.

The 27-year-old, who is on loan at Serie A team Torino, failed to live up to expectations since signing for the Foxes from Sampdoria in 2019.

Praet, who is currently on international duty with Belgium for the UEFA Nations League, admits he is not sure why he failed to make the grade at Brendan Rodgers' Leicester.

"I had good times there," Praet told La Dernière Heure, per voetbalkrant.com.

"At the start of last season I played a dozen games in the starting line-up. I still think I took my chance, and the results were good.

"A lot of people at Leicester didn't understand that I disappeared from view afterwards. I must have something that Brendan Rodgers doesn't like, but I don't know what."
