Brentford defender Mathias 'Zanka' Jørgensen has earned a recall with Denmark.
Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand says the stopper deserves his place after last season's form.
He explained, "Zanka has been good. He has beaten Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City. He has been in those games and he has never, ever disappointed me for a second in the national team.
"He has never disappointed, and he always does everything on the training ground, and I am completely comfortable throwing him into battle.
"He knows the moves we can make tactically. He can form part of a three-back chain both in the middle and on the right, and he can play when there are two defenders.
"He knows exactly what I mean when we do different things, and he gives so much to the group."
