Arsenal midfielder Denis Suarez has dismissed talk of being sent back to parent club Barcelona.

It's been claimed Gunners boss Unai Emery will not take up their permanent option for £18m when the season draws to a close, reports the Mirror.

He reportedly does not believe the Spaniard can cope with the physical demands of English football having handed him just six substitute appearances since his arrival.

The 25-year-old posted an Instagram story of him in training on Wednesday with the caption "let them keeping talking" as he appears set to fight to save his Arsenal career.

He still has some time to prove his worth if he can gain more game time at the expense of the likes of Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
