Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has enjoyed a dig at Granit Xhaka.

Arsenal drew 1-1 with Brighton at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon which all but ended their Champions League hopes.

The Gunners had led 1-0 courtesy of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's ninth-minute penalty, but Glenn Murray scored Brighton's equaliser on the hour mark.

The visitors were awarded a penalty after Xhaka fouled Solly March.

It left the Arsenal fans frustrated, none more so than Frimpong, who tweeted: “I'll rather have a one leg Ramsey than Xhaka."

He later again tweeted: “how many FU***** TIMES THIS BLOODY XHAKA GIVE AWAY FREE GOALS HE DOES THAT CUS HE CANT MOVE AROUND THE PITCH LACK OF PACE."
