Moussa Dembele was delighted with his Fulham debut in the draw against Manchester United.
It was a true baptism of fire for the former AZ Alkmaar attacker, but one that he thoroughly enjoyed.
"I was happy with my debut," he told fulhamfc.com. "We played well and the team got a positive result, so I'm happy with how things have started.
"I thought if I could play well against Manchester, then this would be a good sign of how well I will do in the Premier League, so it was a good game to start in.
"It was faster than I'm used to, but I can handle it. Now I have to keep working. The group has welcomed me very well, so that makes it much easier for me to adapt. So I'm pleased with the situation and very grateful to be joining a club with good players and good staff."
He added: "I can play in many positions - from the left, from the right, behind the strikers, and if necessary I can play at the top. Today I was just happy to get on and experience the Premier League for the first time."
