Alli managed to take the Premier League by storm last season and the midfielder's meteoric rise has seen him become a key figure for both Spurs and the England national team over the past 12 months.
Tottenham tied down Alli to a new long-term deal at White Hart Lane on Monday and having signed the contract, the 20-year-old has gone on to explain that he has matured a lot during his time in North London.
When asked about his spell with Spurs, he told the club's official website: "I've grown up!
"Well, I've tried to grow up! I've got great people around me to help keep my feet on the ground and I'll keep working hard on my football and keep trying to improve.
"[The attention] is a bit surreal but I'm the same kid as I always have been, nothing has changed for me off the pitch, I'm still the same person and thankfully, like I said before, I've got great support around me."
