Dejan Lovren still has one eye on a departure at Liverpool.

After admitting he was planning to leave last summer, the defender still has plans to depart, reports ESPN.

The Croatian nearly left the Reds at the start of the season only for Jurgen Klopp to block his departure.

However, the Liverpool boss won't stand in the defender's way at the end of the season as he enters the final year of his contract.

Lovren said in October, "The transfer window time is now over. I will always be here if I am needed, I am giving more than 100% for this club from day one. There are good days and bad days but six years is quite a long time.

"Everything, at the moment, is fine. Let's see what will happen. It was a challenge for me this summer to stay here but I gave everything in pre-season and I fought."
