Defoe, Bradley, Cesar arrivals force Toronto FC to sell out season tickets

MLS club Toronto FC have revealed that they have already sold out their season ticket quota for the 2014 season.

The Canadian outfit confirmed on Tuesday that they have completed a sell-out of all season-ticket seat packages and will now have nine-match packages up for grabs.

An official statement from TFC read: "Toronto FC announced Tuesday that season seat ticket packages for the 2014 season have sold out.

"Nine match packages are now available and purchasers will be offered priority access to 2015 ticket packages.

"Single game tickets for the club's first six home matches go on sale Wednesday, March 5 with presales happening March 4.

"Earlier this month the Club announced that an additional 500 season seats would be available and that the Season Seat Holder base would be capped at 17,000 for the upcoming season.

"Fans interested in joining the waiting list for 2015 ticket packages can sign up at www.torontofc.ca."

Toronto had a very busy offseason of signings including Jermain Defoe (from Tottenham), Michael Bradley (from AS Roma), Julio Cesar (on loan from QPR), Bradley Orr (on loan from Blackburn Rovers), Gilberto (from Internacional) and the return of Dwayne De Rosario which has helped lead to this point of unprecedented ticket sales for the BMO Field outfit.
