FC Basel striker Arthur Cabral is interesting Barcelona.

Mundo Deportivo says Barca see Cabral as cover for Sergio Aguero. The Argentine is facing at least three months on the sidelines after being diagnosed with a heart complaint.

Barca are exploring the prospect of taking Cabral on-loan in January.

The deal would involve the striker joining to June with a permanent option for €8m.

Interestingly, Cabral's agent is former Barca star Deco, who is now acting as a go-between for the two clubs.

The player's personal demands would also fall inside Barca's wage budget.
