Chelsea scout Piet de Visser has warned against placing too much expectation on the Eredivisie's best young players.
PSV Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City this season.
But De Visser warned: "The danger is that young players in the Netherlands will be put on the horse too fast.
"Just look at Zakaria Bakkali.
"He scored three times against NEC, where a defence forgot to cover him for an evening.
"He was on fire. But now he's on the bench with the kids."
