De Ligt warns Raiola not to mess up dream Barcelona move

Super agent Mino Raiola is taking a backseat in Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt's move to Barcelona.

There had been concerns Raiola's presence could threaten the deal due to his demands of a high commission and also a fractious relationship with Barca.

Sport says, however, De Ligt has told his agent that he only wants to move to Barca - and not to muddy negotiations with an outlandish agent's fee.

Barca are prepared to pay €70m for De Ligt - an offer which satisfies Ajax.

Family members, personal sponsors and Ajax management have all been told De Ligt's intention is to join Barca at the end of the season.

The Catalans offered €60m for the defender at the beginning of the week.
