Former Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong was left unimpressed by Mesut Ozil for Arsenal's Europa League final defeat to Chelsea.
Ozil again failed to perform on the big stage.
And De Jong, now with Al Ahli, told beinSport: “This says enough, his body language, even after the game. How he sits there in the dug-out and perhaps thinks: what is my next step? What am I still doing here? What went wrong in the competition?.
"(But) you always give him the benefit of the doubt.
“You wonder: does he really want to be there? Does he really want to win? Of course he is an incredibly talented football player, we all know that. But now again ... It was another day when it didn't happen for him and his colleagues."
