Leicester City striker Layton Ndukwu is attracting foreign interest.

Der Gelderlander says De Graafschap coach Henk de Jong and technical chief Peter Hofstede were in England last week on a scouting mission.

The pair took in Leicester's U23 clash with Manchester United to run their eye over Ndukwu.

An England youth international, Ndukwu has scored once so far this season at U23 level and is regarded highly at Leicester.

In the market for a striker signing, De Graafshap are planning to invite the 19 year-old for January trials.
