Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is willing to accept a pay-cut to stay at Old Trafford.
De Gea's contract expires in June and even though United have the option to extend it by 12 months, they have allegedly opted against it.
The Telegraph says that is due to the goalkeeper's huge salary.
And the Red Devils “will instead enter into discussions" with the Spain international and his representatives “in an attempt to persuade him to pen fresh terms on reduced wages".
