Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has returned to training.

The Manchester Evening News says De Gea has returned to United training ahead of their clash with Real Betis this weekend. The Spanish goalkeeper was not named in the match day squad that lost against Cádiz in midweek, as he watched the match from the stands instead.

Any injury fears appear to have been eased, however, after the 32-year-old was pictured back in training on Thursday along with the rest of his teammates in Spain.

De Gea was seen laughing with Martin Dubravka during the group session and will be in contention to play against Real Betis this weekend.
