Gigi de Canio is delighted to be back in Italian football at Lecce.

The former QPR coach said: "This is a professional challenge for me, just like the others in my career.

"The first objective is to build a united unit and to repair the relationship between the players, the Press and the fans.

"I will speak to all the players and try to work out what is the best solution to each problem.

"The main thing is to restore the confidence and the conviction to the side because that is the only way you can start winning games."
